The Active Mattifying Cleanser is formulated at a mildly acidic pH of 4.0, the ideal zone for activating salicylic acid and lactic acid so they exfoliate effectively while staying gentle on your skin.

Optimal pH Range: 3.5 – 4.5

• Below 3.2 > Risks unnecessary irritation, especially in a foaming cleanser.
• 3.5 – 4.0 > Maximum exfoliation activity.
• Around 4.5 > Still activates exfoliation while being gentler and better for daily use.
• Above 4.5 > Exfoliation activity drops off significantly

Twice daily, wet face with warm water to open pores, then squeeze a small amount into the palms of hands and massage gently over face and neck. Rinse thoroughly with cool water.
